Surely you also have many questions about our hotel and services before booking or just before your trip,thus, we have gathered our answers to any questions that may arise, in order to help them make their decision or even the moments of preparation.

General informations

You can ask for a quotation on our website on the following link, or you can contact us via e-mail. Please indicate the time of arrival and departure, the number of people (on case of children, please mention their age)!

  • If you accept our quotation or book online, the booking system will automatically send you a confirmation with all the necessary information including the booking number (that contains numbers starting with RS/-)
  • In case you have made your reservation through a booking or travel agency, please make sure to bring your confirmation letter with you.
  • Be one of our regulars and get the guaranteed best price for your next booking!
  • In case you have a value-based (fixed rate) gift card, you can redeem it though our website at the end of the booking process by entering the gift card number in the appropriate field. The system will automatically deduct the value of the gift card from the total price of the booking.
  • In case you have a service-based voucher (e.g. for 2 people, 2 nights), please contact our our team responsible for the reservations on one of the following contacts. They will be happy to help you!

Reservation (request for quotation, booking):

On the day of arrival our rooms are available from 3 p.m. Please leave the rooms until 11 a.m. on the day of departure. 

Early check-in and late checkout are possible for a fee of 3 000 HUF/ room for each hour you started, subject to availability and prior arrangement. Please contact reception for details.

Your family pet is welcome in our hotel for a surcharge of 7000 HUF/ dog/ night. Your pet is only allowed in the designated rooms. 

  • In accordance with the amendment of Act XLII. of 1999 on the protection of non-smokers, smoking in enclosed spaces is strictly prohibited from 1st April 2012. Please refrain from smoking in hotel rooms and terraces. Smoking is only allowed on designated smoking areas within 5 meters from the hotel entrance and at the designated tables of our restaurant.

Equipment for babies and toddlers: travel cot, baby bath, toilet seat, step stool, high chair (on prior request)

  • You have the opportunity to pay the deposit from all three sub-accounts of any SZÉP card.
  • You can pay the full amount of your bill from any sub-accounts of your SZÉP card, with the exception of the tourist tax.
  • In all cases of deposit payments, please provide billing information (name, address, phone number if possible)

With OTP SZÉP card:

  • You can initiate the payment of the deposit by logging in to your account at the following website:
  • Please let us know via email if the payment of the deposit and the reservation is made under different names!
  • You can find our hotel as an acceptance point under the name SunGarden or as a company under the name TQM Hotel Kft. The address is in both cases: 8600 Siófok, Batthyány u. 24.
  • After the registration and login, you will see your own page, where you will have to select SunGarden from a drop-down list by name and choose the sub-account that you wish to pay the deposit from.
  • After clicking on the “Initiate payment” button, you will be redirected to the OTPdirect page. Please note that you will have to enter all the details and initiate payment within 5 minutes, otherwise your payment will be rejected. To complete the transaction you need to enter the following information on the online payment page:
  • Card type (select "other"),
  • Issuing bank (OTP Bank),
  • Cardholder name,
  • Card number,
  • Card expiry date.

After clicking on the “Send” button you have the opportunity to check the entered data once again. In case of successful transaction, the webshop will direct you to a page where you will be asked to click on “Print receipt”. To confirm the legitimacy of the transaction, the cardholder will have to sign the printed receipt.

With MKB SZÉP card:

  • Please send us the name of the cardholder, the identification number of the MKB SZÉP card (4;5 or 6 numbers) and the details of the payment via e-mail: the exact amount of the payment and from which pocket you wish to pay from.
  • After providing the necessary information, our accounting department will receive a 10-digit identifier from MKB Bank. We will send this identifier to you by email and you can use it to initiate the payment to our hotel on the website of MKB SZÉP card.
  • You can find our hotel as an acceptance point under the name SunGarden or as a company under the name TQM Hotel Kft. The address is in both cases: 8600 Siófok, Batthyány u. 24.
With K&H SZÉP card:
  • You can initiate the payment to our hotel by calling K&H Bank on 06-1-33-53-355.
  • You can find our hotel as an acceptance point under the name SunGarden or as a company under the name TQM Hotel Kft. The address is in both cases: 8600 Siófok, Batthyány u. 24.
  • The bank will ask for the identification number of the hotel, which is: 84040806
  • Please let us know in advance via email about the details of the transaction: name of the K&H SZÉP card owner, which pocket you wish to pay from, and the exact amount you want to pay with SZÉP card.

Siófok can be reached from Budapest and Letenye on the motorway M7 or on the highway no. 7; and from Szekszárd and Tamási on the main road 65. As a junction, it receives passengers from two directions (from the Budapest – Gyékényes and the Kaposvár – Siófok line). By waterway it is connected to the northern shore of Lake Balaton (Balatonfüred), the peninsula in Tihany and the ports of western ports. Also, there is an airport in the town (next to the settlement Kiliti)

How to approach our hotel: 

  • By train or bus: The Hotel SunGarden is located near to the train and bus station, which is a great advantage for our non-driving quests. Our hotel is located in the resort area, approximately 50 m from the train and bus station, a 2-3 minutes walk through the pedestrian tunnel.
  • By car, on the motorway M7 from Budapest or Letenye: Coming from Budapest you will have to leave the motorway at “Siófok Centrum”. Then, leave the roundabout in the direction of Centrum. Drive along Vak Bottyán Street (4-lane road) until the junction of the 65 and the old main rad 7, Fő Street. There, turn right and after about 300 meters turn left (crossing the railway) and turn right at the 2nd crossing to Batthyány Street. The hotel is located at number 24. We provide a nicely designed, with a barrier closed parking spot for our guests.

Services, restaurant, bar

Our hotel room rates include half board. Moreover, our snack and a ‘la carte menu offers additional dining options on the spot.

In our hotel we offer half board for all of our guests, which includes a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner. In case of a smaller number of guests, we prepare our main courses a ’la minute.

  • Breakfast between 07 a.m. and 10 a.m.
  • Lunch between 12 a.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Dinner between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Our drink bar is open daily between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. On holiday weekends and in high season the bar awaits its guests with extended opening hours.


Yes, you can place your luggage in our designated luggage room and you are allowed to use the wellness area until 3 p.m. for a charge of 8 000 HUF/ room.

Room infos

Yes, we provide bathrobes for our adult guests free of charge. Please note that we cannot provide bathrobes for children.

In our rooms there are 2 separate beds that can be moved and can function as a double bed. The mattresses of the beds can be zipped together and they are covered with a mattress protector to ensure that you have a comfortable rest.
